Site History
SpleenWorld can trace it's beginnings back three years to America online. Initially set up as an attempt on learning HTML, the Planet of the Apes site was formed on my AOL account. Shortly after it's conception, it recieved notice from the Cool Site of the Day. Only after being flooded by a large number of viewers, did I realize how well and easily I could reach people through this medium. Over time I added more and more to the site but as the site and it's audience grew, I encountered many restrictions on the AOL account, primarily being the server space limitations. I then secured this domain through SimpleNet on April 9th 1997.

Design & Organization
As I've been maintaining the sites on SpleenWorld, I've made several cosmetic changes. This has been done due to my desire to keep the pages looking fresh and engaging. The site changes vary on the time I have to implement them, and my general desire to do so.
I love hearing from people, and the only way this site can continue to grow is if you let me know what you want added, removed, or changed. Comments, of any kind are absolutely encouraged.
